Tsebo fully understands the impact HIV/AIDS can have on a company’s profits and productivity. We have heeded the call for the business fraternity to develop in-house strategies to help fight the pandemic. Our approach is to work very closely with our clients, understand their health and wellness strategies so that we can provide proactive support that augments their HIV/AIDS strategies.
Using World Health Organization (WHO) and Department of Health (DOH) guidelines on nutrition for HIV-positive people, our Catering division has specifically created nutritionally enhanced food designed to boost the immune systems of people living with HIV/AIDS. We also distribute this immune boosting food to young children in rural communities and individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
Within the Group, we run an internal programme in which members of staff from different regions are taken for training to be HIV/AIDS peer educators. These individuals then go on to train their colleagues.
