With over 25 years’ experience in security, with five years in operations and 20 in HR, as well as a proven track record in high-level industry wage negotiations, Verhufen is well placed as Chairperson of SASA. Not only is it the largest employer organisation in the security sector with approximately 48 Gold Member employer affiliates representing about 140,000 security officers, it is also the major employer organisation within the NBCPSS.
The NBCPSS is responsible for regulating, and writing into law, the terms, conditions and obligations of employers to ensure compliance within the sector.
